German Language Fundamentals – Pronouncing ch
In English, letters often have more than one pronunciation. For example, we can pronounce the letter “g” as the “g” in “giant” or the “g” in “get.” The “g” may be part of a letter combination, as in “rough.” Or we may not pronounce it at all, as in “high.”
